Rockstud Bow Bootie by Valentino

Studs and spikes are hot!  Ok that sounds like an obvious statement.  Let's re-phrase: studded clothing and accessories are hot!  We've found lots of ways to incorporate this rocker girl trend into a still-feminine style.  Get the look on coats, shoes, clutches and accessories.  Whatever you're looking to add to your wardrobe this fall, don't shy away from including a little hardware.

This chic tailored jacket from TopShop has shoulder studs reminiscent of epaulettes from military suits of the past, adding just a touch more power to the power suit.

Zara's belted coat emulates the military+studs look as well.  The A-line skirt of this jacket gives a feminine shape while the studded belt sharpens the look.

We're excited to discover that Chiara Ferragnis (of the Blonde Salad) has started a shoe line, which includes these very cool studded biker boots.

Here's a bit more about her shoe line via an interview with Shoescribe:

Leopard and studded heels this combo totally works - We love this eclectic look by Song of Style.

For a high-heeled boot, we love the Rockstud Bow Bootie by Valentino.  This boot is for the woman with a look-at-me-attitude: "I'm sexy (spikey?) and I know it!"

Christian Louboutin has really taken the spik look to a whole new level, dangerous chic!  With either one of these bold handbags, no one will dare to mess with you.  Both via Net-a-Porter.

Want something a slightly less aggressive?  We found this  pyramid studded bracelet via  Sincerely, Jules.  With a matte finish and softer points, this piece can easily go from a day to night time accessory.  The bracelet is another collaboration between Gabriela Artigas and Sincerely, Jules.

Studs don't have to be devoid of color: Capwell's blue and gold cluster earrings mix blue stones with gold-plated spikes for a colorful and sharp look.  Check out the rest of the Some Spike it Hot collection for more colors and spiked styles.

Of course we absolutely don't recommend wearing one from each category at the same time, lest you end up looking like this:

But try some in your wardrobe this winter.  Who knows, that stud across the room might just pay a little closer attention.
